This is our queer–and women–owned music space in Portland, Oregon.
Queen Jane Music Studios offers lessons, music coaching, recording, mixing, and orchestration & transcription services all under one roof.
We also host live shows, drag performances, karaoke nights, and community events in our intimate venue—home to the swanky Lava Lounge!
We’re dedicated to uplifting marginalized voices and the music community at large. Whether you’re here to record, perform, or just join the fun, our creative and comfortable space will inspire you to make some noise.

Multiple DatesSun, Jul 26Tiny stars, big stage energy: kids 12 & under sing from a kid-focused karaoke menu with costumes, props, and plenty of grown-up cheering!
Multiple DatesFri, Jul 31A community-centered open mic for music, poetry, comedy, storytelling, performance art, works-in-progress, and interesting little experiments. We love a mixed room with different ages, genders, genres, backgrounds, and experience levels. Come help us make space for as many voices as possible.

Bring a craft, color something cute, play a board game, start a crossword, or just melt into a couch with other low-key humans nearby. Conversation optional. Existing encouraged. Free snacks. Tasty drinks. Vibes.
Multiple DatesThu, Aug 20An evening of records, conversation, and freedom from the tiny digital overlords who think they know what you want to hear next. $5 suggested donation keeps the lights on and the records spinning.
